Vel’oh going electric

This year 800 e-bikes will be available throughout Luxembourg city at 80 locations, up from 69 locations currently. The cost will increase from €15 to €18, but it is likely the numbers of users will increase from the current 7,700 subscriptions.

Designed for users over the age of 14, bicycles are fitted with a wide mudguard to protect your clothes and a big shopping basket at the front. They will also have 3 gears, an adjustable saddle and the front and back lights are always on, so you can be sure to be seen.

Along with LuxTram the Luxembourg communal council hope the growing bicycle network will entice more people off the road and on to the city bicycles.

We are looking forward to trying out the new Vel’oh on some of the crazy hills around the Grund.
